WHAT IS CBD
The miracle Cannabis compound that does not produce a high
CBD (Cannabidiol) is a compound extracted from the flower of the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. CBD is one of over 80 phytocannabinoids, or chemical compounds, produced by the cannabis plant. The CBD is gently extracted from the cannabis plant to form a paste. This paste is then mixed with other bases such as hemp oil allowing the mixture to be ingested.
CBD works in tandem with one of your body's systems known as the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The function of the ECS is to regulate stress relief, immune response and maintain homeostasis including appetite, sleep, mood and pain.
CBD can be taken orally, in an oil form by dropping a small amount (1-2 drops) the tongue, waiting 1 minute before swallowing on a daily basis or when required. Alternatively, it can be applied topically, directly to the body to the affected area. Again this can be done on a daily basis or as required.
