PIlates in Ealing

Chloe was inspired to take up PIlates by a family friend and Pilates teacher in 2013. Already healthy with a functioning body, Chloe didn't realise the full impact regular pilates practice had until the birth of Chloe and David's daughter in 2016. Post birth, Chloe found she was struggling to use her body in the same way and only with regular Pilates practice did she return to her pre-pregnancy state. Chloe saw how quickly her body turned back to 'normal' post birth compared to her friends who had also given birth at the time. Inspired by this change, Chloe decided to leave her career in the city behind and become a Pilates teacher.

David suffered a slipped disk in 2010 and a subsequent motorbike accident in 2013 which was then compounded by 10 years working in the city, leaving his body somewhat 'out'. After gentle persuasion by Chloe, David agreed to join a PIlates class. This single session highlighted just how stiff his body had become with little core control. David decided to stick with PIlates and less than 3 months later was able to enjoy a fully functioning body.

This relatively quick body transformation inspired David to gain a thorough understanding of how the body works and train to achieve his Body Control Pilates mat work qualification.
